C'mon get happy!
We are now officially the Partridge Family. Yesterday we picked up the van. Mel wasn’t too happy giving up Terry (the Ford Territory) as our new car reminds her of going home in a Maxi Taxi after a night out.
We bought a 2011 Hyundai IMax 2.5 Diesel Turbo -
We got Cruise Control installed in the factory and after pick up I went to get some car seat bolts put in the back row (yes an 8...

Shopping tip
I have stumbled onto a great way to not lose your groceries in the boot of your car. We have all been there… you place your bags in your boot and try to push them into the corner, hoping that they won’t move in the short trip home. When you get home and open the boot, there is nothing in the corner, except a couple of empty bags. Your bottles of diet lemonade and evian have rolled to...

I was playing football with my son’s, 10 year old niece and her friends. I attempted to back heel the ball and had a bit of an airy… My niece’s BFF giggled and said “What an Epic Fail!”… SNAP!

My world is about to change.
3 weeks into my full time job as Mr Mum, I am about to embark on my first 2 weeks of school holidays… I’m not too sure how I am going to go. All 4 kids, all day, every day… oh, except for Izaac, he still goes to Care 2 days a week.
Wish me luck.

Birthday Parties are supposed to be easy.
My 5 year old Kaine was invited to a classmates birthday party. He excitedly opened the envelope with his name written on the front. He did very well reading his name and his friends name and asked me to read when the party was on.
This is when it started to get a little difficult. His 6 year old brother Jaecob asked if he was going? I said no, as it wasn’t his friends party. He...

Please Vaccinate your children and yourself.
I get my fair share of “looks” (for differing reasons), but I have received a few extra “looks” over the last 9 weeks.
Ever since a baby died in Victoria in Mid February due to whooping cough, I have been blatantly asking people if they have had the Whooping Cough booster if they want to go near my baby. I’m sorry if I make you feel uneasy, but I make no apologies...

Responsible for Phil Collins retirement →
I can’t help but to think that I am responsible for Phil Collins retirement, as just days after I have officially become a full time Dad, my friend Phil announces his retirement from music. I knew I shouldn’t have sent him the link to my blog.
Words that I thought I'd never say again, but now...

We were in Daddy's tummy
Kaine and Izaac were talking about Yve coming out of Mummy’s tummy. When Izaac says “We were in Mummy’s tummy too”. Kaine looked over with a dismissing look saying, “No we weren’t, we were in Daddy’s tummy”. I looked over and said “What?”. Izaac left the room and Kaine responded “We are boys, we were in your tummy.” By the...

“Look dad, I pooed a rainbow.”
I changed a nappy today and there was a layer of yellow, a layer of green and a layer of brown… Clever girl!
