Well it’s that time of year, the nights are getting colder and my little petri dishes are bringing home various types of plague back from their school and child care centre.
Izaac came home with a runny nose last week and had a slight cough. By Sunday, he was barking like a dog and green slime was free flowing from his nose. We took him to the doctors and she prescribed antibiotics, plenty of rest and to keep him away from Yve.
Izaac was having a bit of a coughing fit last night, so I called him out to the lounge room to sit him up. He stopped coughing after a few minutes and I sent him to our bed so I could keep an eye on him. When I went to bed, he was asleep in the middle of the bed, snoring away.
Yve woke up a little early and as Mel got up to do the feed, I woke slightly. You know when you are awake, but still dreaming and they mix up a bit? I felt warm air on my face and thought, how nice, my beautiful wife put on the air con to warm us up before we had to get up in an hour or so. I laid there for a few more minutes and then opened my eyes, to Izaac mouth open, about 4 cm away from my face snoring into my open mouth… Thanks Axe.
